A huge thanks to everyone at FMG Publications for publishing an article on me in the March/April 2005 issue of American Handgunner Magazine. I just got my copy in the mail today (thanks Steve!!!) ... thanks so much to Pat Covert for writing an outstanding article as well as Ichiro Nagata for taking the wonderful pictures. Also, Roy, thanks for everything. I look forward to meeting up with you all for dinner in Vegas!

I just got back from the Blade Show in Atlanta. What an incredible show! I met a lot of great people and saw some of the most impressive knives in the world. Another huge thanks to Steve Evatt and Roy Huntington from American Handgunner and Guns Magazine for another wonderful supper. It was a great meal shared with great people.
Picking over all of the supply tables was immensly overwhelming too. Keep your eyes posted for some new knives made with Eggerling damascus!!! I have also put in an application for having my own table at Blade next year. So if you are there, keep your eyes open for me.
Also, the Las Vegas Classic Knife Show is now being held over at the Mandalay Bay Hotel and Casino. It is going to be held in conjunction with the Antique Arms Show. Be sure to attend this show if you can; it is going to be great.

I just got back from the Las Vegas Classic Knife Show. It was great- met a lot of fine knifemakers. Highlights of my show was to meet Scott Slobodian and view his work in person. Amazing! I've admired his work since before I started making knives. Another cool site was going to Mandalay Bay's shark exhibit with Greg Lightfoot and Thomas Haslinger. If you are ever in Vegas you must check this out. Thanks to Jim & Steve from American Handgunner and Guns Magazine for the incredible dinner at the Bellagio - by far the best meal I ever had! Here's a view from our (Lightfoot and I) hotel room. I've booked my table for next years show which is to be held back at the Riviera in Las Vegas. I hope to see you there. |
